Capacity guide
Choose the right 12.8 V capacity
Energy is shown as usable watt-hours. A 100 Ah battery stores 1,280 Wh — about 1,150 Wh usable at 90% depth of discharge.
| Capacity | Stored energy | Usable (@90% DOD) | Typical SLA equivalent | Common applications |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6–12 Ah | 77–154 Wh | 69–138 Wh | 7–12 Ah SLA | Alarm panels, gate motors, small UPS, toys |
| 18–30 Ah | 230–384 Wh | 207–346 Wh | 20–30 Ah SLA | Solar lighting, CCTV, medical carts, wheelchairs |
| 50–60 Ah | 640–768 Wh | 576–691 Wh | 50–65 Ah SLA | RV & camping, fishing boats, small solar |
| 100–150 Ah | 1,280–1,920 Wh | 1,152–1,728 Wh | 100–150 Ah SLA | Home solar backup, telecom cabinets, trolling motors |
| 200–300 Ah | 2,560–3,840 Wh | 2,304–3,456 Wh | 2×150–3×100 Ah | Off-grid cabins, marina, floor scrubbers |
| 400–600 Ah | 5,120–7,680 Wh | 4,608–6,912 Wh | Multiple strings | Commercial backup, telecom sites, light traction |
BMS protection: over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit and temperature · Charge 0–45 °C, discharge −20–60 °C · Series/parallel wiring up to 4S4P · Bluetooth monitoring optional.

FAQ
12.8 V LiFePO4 Battery — Buyer Questions
No — you must use a lithium (LiFePO4) charger or an inverter with a lithium profile. A 14.4–14.6 V charge voltage is required; a lead-acid charger will undercharge the battery and shorten its life. Many hybrid inverters already have a LiFePO4 setting.
Yes. We build to the standard SLA group sizes (U1, 24, 27, 31, 8D and more), so the battery drops into the same tray with the same terminals. Send us your old battery's dimensions and terminal type if you are unsure.
About 3,000 cycles at 50% DOD — typically 8–10 years in daily solar or backup duty, compared with 2–3 years for an AGM battery in the same role.
Yes, up to 4 in series (48 V) and 4 in parallel with balanced wiring and a matching BMS. We supply series/parallel wiring diagrams and can pre-configure the BMS for you.
UN38.3 test report, MSDS, IEC 62133/62619, CE and RoHS. Batteries ship as dangerous goods class 9 with the proper packaging and documentation.
From 10 pcs for standard 12.8 V models and 4 pcs for sample evaluation; container pricing applies from 200 pcs. OEM branding is available from 100 pcs.
